Sylvan Place

Located along the foreshore of Bundaberg, the brief for this project was to design a modern, yet cost-effective home that connected to nature and its surroundings. It was to feature open-plan living in a temperate climate.

The owners wanted the home to integrate with the environment whilst still making an architectural statement and low maintenance. The relaxed and quiet beachside living is supported by a sense of openness in the house but at the same time a feeling of privacy and protection.

To let the home speak for itself and create a timeless look, the owners chose a minimalist palette of finishes with timber and steel with the colours creating a calming and welcoming house.
